Comcast has shown itself as remarkably competent. We called to get cable service on Monday, they said, ‘Okay we’ll be out this afternoon.’ Dave got a call from a person saying, ‘sorry, running late, won’t be there until 2:30.’ Still sounds like “afternoon” to us. And right at 2:30, they showed up and installed cable service.

Mind you, this was all still on Monday. Dang.

Dave has been completely been moved over. Our furniture is starting to move over, with the major pieces going this weekend. So, today, the router and a couple systems will be moving over right after I post this. The old place will be cut off from the internet at that point. Hopefully, I’ll find that everything is okay with the cable service and we’ll start getting the network hooked up over there.
