Up Front is an unusual WWII tactical combat game using nothing but cards. Individual men are represented with 'personality cards', and all actions and terrain and events are dependent on one large deck that both players draw from. Random numbers are primarily found by drawing cards from the deck, and range from -6 to +6 (with numbers becoming more common as you get closer to 0). Published in the early '80s by Avalon Hill, it is long out of print, with various efforts to reprint it meeting disaster, until Wargame Vault was able to offer a 'facimile version' of the original game.
