Cicus Maximums is an old Battleline game that was re-released by Avalon Hill, depicting Roman chariot racing. It features all the dirty tricks of whipping the other teams' horses (to make them go too fast through a turn), or another driver, to ramming other chariots, and has a simple 'point buy' system for the chariots like that used in the classic Speed Circuit. It's highly enjoyable, and a regular feature at our group days when we go for shorter games.
